about

Adam Gercak is a well-known Cleveland-based fire photographer and photojournalist.

He has been featured in various publications across the country including Cleveland Magazine (Janurary 2013), The Cleveland Stater, People Magazine, and various TV outlets.

He has photographed events like “Hotter in Cleveland” a full scale disaster drill, and was embedded with the Cleveland Fire Department as they cleared the Port of Cleveland in preparation for Navy Week.

He is a resource for Fire Departments all over Northeast Ohio to document their special events, training, and even on-scene fire photography, free of charge.

While not chasing fires and acting like a one-man paparazzo for the fire service you might find him taking photos of his dogs, kids, food, and various other projects around Cleveland, Ohio.

His latest project is called 'Food in the Firehouse' a look inside a firehouse's family meals. Many would find that preparing a meal in a firehouse is much like that of a restaurant.
